Itinerary
You start your tour by taking a train or flight from Delhi to Ahmedabad. Once you reach Ahmedabad, our driver picks you up from the station or airport. After checking into your hotel, relax for a while.
Later, visit Sabarmati Ashram, where Mahatma Gandhi lived. Walk by the Sabarmati River and enjoy the peaceful view. Then, go to Kankaria Lake and enjoy local snacks. In the evening, you can explore the local market and buy traditional Gujarati items like bandhani clothes and handicrafts.
After breakfast, you leave for Dwarka. The drive takes around 7-8 hours, but the road is smooth. You can enjoy the changing views and stop for lunch on the way. Reach Dwarka by evening and check into the hotel. Visit the Dwarkadhish Temple for evening aarti. The temple looks beautiful with lights and flowers. Spend some peaceful moments in this holy city.
Start your day early. After breakfast, take a short drive to Okha Jetty. From there, take a boat ride to Bet Dwarka, an island believed to be Lord Krishna’s home. Visit the old temple and enjoy the boat ride with sea breeze and views.
On your way back, visit Nageshwar Jyotirlinga Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Also visit Rukmini Devi Temple, dedicated to Lord Krishna’s wife. Return to Dwarka in the evening. You can attend another aarti at the temple if you wish.
After breakfast, you drive to Somnath. On the way, stop at Porbandar, the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi. Visit Kirti Mandir, a small museum showing Gandhiji’s life. Also visit Sudama Temple, dedicated to Lord Krishna’s friend.
Then, continue your journey to Somnath. After reaching, check into your hotel. Visit the famous Somnath Temple, located near the sea. Attend the evening aarti and watch the Sound and Light Show, which tells the story of the temple.
After breakfast, leave for Rajkot. On the way, stop at Virpur to visit Jalaram Bapa Temple. Pilgrims from all over India come here to seek blessings. Next, visit Naulakha Palace in Gondal. The palace is old and beautiful with carvings and royal items. Then continue your journey to Rajkot. Reach Rajkot in the evening. Visit Kaba Gandhi No Delo, Gandhiji’s childhood home, now a museum.
After breakfast, drive back to Ahmedabad. On the way, stop at Akshardham Temple in Gandhinagar. The temple is grand and peaceful. You can enjoy the gardens and fountains. After your visit, reach Ahmedabad and check into your hotel. In the evening, visit Manek Chowk, a famous food street. Try some local dishes like dhokla, fafda, jalebi, and thepla.
After breakfast, pack your bags. We drop you at the railway station or airport. Take your return train or flight to Delhi with happy memories of your Gujarat tour.
